Note: This tool creates route charts using UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) projection with fixed scale, ideal for short-range local flights. All navigation calculations (bearings, distances) are performed in WGS-84. UTM is only used for displaying the map at a fixed scale, allowing you to measure distances with a ruler or plotter like a real aeronautical chart. For routes crossing UTM zones or spanning wide areas, use the /segments calculator instead.
